The American Bladesmith Society presents the 2016 ABS Board of Directors Knife of the Year by Master Smith Kevin R. Cashen for the 2016 ABS Knife Auction. In this informative and entertaining video Kevin describes his processes making this extraordinary Bowie knife. The knife will be available on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 10AM in Room# 103 at the ABS Knife Auction during the 2016 Blade Show in Atlanta, GA.

Awesome. I forgot about the air speed velocity of an unladen swallow part! And your description of a highly polished Hamon only sharing itself with you in that moment when you catch the light right put a big ol grin on my face. That was very enjoyable and shed some much needed sunshine on a subject that some perceive as a dour bunch of boredom. It was so pleasant to watch and while entertaining, it still achieved it's purpose. To educate.
