Hey all,
Noob apprentice here. As I'm preparing to learn the craft, I'm tackling knife making tools as I go along. In Kenya there's no suppliers of knife making tools, and the Kenya Revenue Authority takes all the wind out of your sails when trying to import something. Anyways, the first tool that seemed crucial is a filing jig. I took Gough Customs excellent video on the filing jig, and gave it my own twist.

Thanks Michael. I was in the process of uploading a couple of photos, but currently when I hit edit it will not allow me to edit my message. I will add the photos here. It was a fun project, and the result is not too shabby. I hear you though: skill over kit any day of the week.
