Just installed a KBAC-27D frequecny drive and it won't power up. I have 240 volts from L1 to L2. 120volts from L1 to ground and 120 volts from L2 to ground. The J1 jumper is set to 230 volts. The LED power light does not come on and the is no voltage to the motor connections U,V, and W. This is a brand new drive. The jumpers are all installed as another one that operates perfectly. I hooked up a very cheap drive to the motor and the motor runs fine. Unfortunatly this drive will not last long due to the dust. The KB service dept. was no help.  any suggestions?

Can you post a photo of your wiring terminals and the connections?

It could be that you have 240volt input. Tha manual states that it is set to 230 volts. I have attached the manual. I bought a vfd and had to put a stepdown transformer because i had 250 volts input. I stepped it down to 208 input and it works great.

The switch is a three position, toggle. I have been doing this work for decades and it fooled me.
