Hello all, I just recently retired and decided to pursue my interest in knife making.I have worked with metal all my life and doing hobby level blacksmithing

for about 20 years.I just completed the two week course at New England School of Metalwork with Master Smith Jim Crowell and had a great time learning how much

I didn't know about forging and heat treating a blade! Jim is an excellent instructor and the school is a very well equipped shop. I look forward to testing in

two years for the journeyman's certificate.

regards,

Welcome Richard. You had a great instructor in Jim. He has taught a number of us. Let us know how we can help.
