Regular Membership (Apprentice Bladesmith)
1 year Regular Membership ($60)
Regular memberships are for bladesmiths who wish to receive all the benefits we have to offer in their pursuit of excellence in their craft and is a must for those wishing to pursue a Journeyman smith rating.
Important: This Membership “Regular” is REQUIRED for Apprentice Smiths to count toward the time requirements necessary to test for Journeyman Smith.
5 year Regular Membership ($250),
A five year Regular memberships offers significant savings while insuring that your membership is uninterrupted and trouble free for enough time to get your J.S. rating.
Associate Membership
1 year Associate Membership ($30)
Associate/Collector membership is for those with an interest in the forged blade but are not knife makers or makers that do not forge their blades, but still wish support the ABS and receive membership benefits.
Important: Associate Membership time does NOT count toward the membership requirements necessary to test for Journeyman Smith.
5 year Associate Membership ($125)
A five year Associate Membership offers significant savings while insuring that your membership is uninterrupted and trouble free for five years.
Youth Membership
1 year Youth Membership ($15)
Youth memberships are part of the ABS’ ongoing mission to secure the future of bladesmithing by offering this special deal for those under the age of 18 to get started in their pursuits in all aspects of the the study of the forged blade.
Important: Youth Membership time does NOT count toward the membership requirements necessary to test for Journeyman Smith.
