2017 Youth Bladesmithing Day

February 11, 2017 - New England School of Metalwork

We are proud to announce the 2017 Youth Bladesmithing Day that will be held at the New England School of Metalwork in Auburn, Maine on February 11, 2017. This will be a one (1) day bladesmithing workshop for eight (8) students ages 12 - 18. Hi Mark!

This is the third annual youth event here at the school! As long as we can keep getting donations we will keep doing them. I know the first of the year has passed, but if any of you ABS members want to donate to the youth program, you can click on the link. We are a full 501c3 non profit.

I received an email from Nick Rossi this morning and he said: "Just wanted to give everyone a heads up that the Youth Day filled in a record 90 minutes.

We'll teach them right!"

That's awesome! This kind of thing is what today's youth need more of. I am proud to be a member of the ABS and proud of the people involved in this effort.
