Well, I am taking the plunge tomorrow. This is my M.S. performance test knife. 304 layer, stainless guard, Birdseye Maple handle. Raised domed pin, and stainless lanyard sleeve.

Beautiful knife, best of luck, hopefully your test went/is going well.
It seems like most people opt to use a differential hardening for their J.S. test knives, is that the typical approach with the damascus M.S. knives?
