I'm trying to find some guard material in Nickel Silver, Ideally .5 x 1 inch bars, 12-24 inch length. Everything I can find out there is 1/4 thick or smaller.

I just bought a large round from ebay and I'll give that a shot. It's like 1.2x1.2 x 5 in for $25.
