This is my first go at a chefs knife. Almost blew my stack when i sanded through to a support pin, but life goes on. I started over and got it out on time for xmas. Figured id share it with you guys.

Hi Gregory,
I like your knife. It has a nice organic quality. Looks like you did a nice job of forging the blade too.
Could you please explain what a support pin is, or is this another name for the two guide pins used for reassembly, and you sanded through the handle to one? Thanks, Dan

Thank you dan! Yes your are correct about the pin. I guess my drill bit must have wandered out. Worst feeling in the world.
