I've been forging more lately, practicing up for JS exam at ICCE 2017. Here's a hunter in 1084 and mesquite, and a bowie in 5160 and juniper burl. The hunter has a stainless guard, and the bowie has a layered stainless and copper guard, soldered together.

Both look really nice, I especially like the guard on your bowie. The fit and finish look sharp.
