Hey everyone!

Just finished this up, my college commissioned me to make ceremonial building opening scissors because they're doing a lot of renovations, and they felt they're ability to opening buildings was inadaquate, so I spiced it up a bit. <img src=' http://www.americanbladesmith.com/ipboard/public/style_emoticons//tongue.gi f' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' /> hahaha

The case is Sappelle and Madagascar Ebony and is about 9x18" annnnnd the blades are about 15" overall, and are all Aldos. One side is just 40 layers, following the shape of the blade, and the other side

is interrupted twists that I sort of wish interupted a little more obviously, spaced with 1095 to make the major bands.

Well done and very creative!

The next time that you do another project like this you should consider doing a Work In Progess (WIP) for the ABS Forum.

Those are beautiful. A lovelier set of scissors, I've not seen.
