Mike/Ray,

I'd like to ask a favor if possible.  I've come to realize that I'm never going to rebuild the four trip hammers I have in my back yard.  Having said this I was wondering if you could shoot out an email to the KGA members ref. the hammers I have for sale, none are operational at this time, they need rebuilt.

    1.    New style Little Giant 50#, Serial # 6463, needs rebuilt.  I have all the parts still (approx. $2,700+) that I purchased years ago(2008) from LG to rebuild it along with a brand new 3hp GE motor that's never been hooked up.  All the parts and new motor would go with this unit, along with some older/spare parts.  Unit was operational at time of purchase, see notes below.

    2.    Old style Little Giant 50#, Serial # 4868 (I believe), needs rebuilt, was laying on truck hood when purchased in non-working condition.  Needs lots of parts to rebuild.

    3.    Mayer Trip Hammer from Kaukauna, WI. 50#, side of frame says:  Pat'd. Aug 12-19, 50# Ram No B 238.  Needs rebuilt, flywheel turns good, but in non-working condition.

    4.     Perfect power hammer by MacGowan & Finigan St. Louis, MO. 40# hammer, needs rebuilt, was working at time of purchase approx. 6-8 years ago.  Unit is 100+ years old.

I'd be glad to send photos of these to anyone that's interested.  I had all of them covered with tarps but they rotted out and all have been sitting outside now uncovered.  I cannot deliver these items, they'd have to be picked up.  I can assist with arranging a forklift to load these onto a trailer at the buyers expense.

Ref. the new style LG, I saw it operational before purchasing it.  Attended the LG rebuild class, came home and tore into my hammer, then realized what new parts I'd need to make it purr, thus the $2,700+ worth of new parts mentioned above.  Ref. the Perfect power hammer, I also saw it under power before purchasing it.  It mainly needs to have the babbit repoured and a new motor, possibly dies.  It sang like a sewing machine when I saw it under power.

If anyone is interested please have them email me at:  [email protected] or call my home: 620-669-6805, if not home leave a message I'll get back to them.

I'll sell these individually but would really like to sell all as a bundle package.  First person with $5,000 gets everything and this price is firm for the bundle, period.  If someone only wants to purchase one they can contact me for a price.   These hammers are in Hutchinson, KS.
