This is a general question, not to pry into your business.
But I would like to know how some of you acquire fire protection equipment. Do you buy the small ones from hardware stores? Buy a contract from a company?
Reason I'm asking is that I'm about to have my version of a knife maker's shop up and running and this is just one precaution I'd like to cover. Thanks.

I just buy big ones from the big box stores and replace as they expire. The local company wanted more than I'm willing to pay to service their's.
I thought about fabricating a manual sprinkler system, but never got around to it.
Looking forward to seeing some pics of the shop!
