Oui, J'ai pensé ainsi. En anglais nous disons "I was pulling my hair out" (Je tirais mes cheveux)pour montrer la frustration.

Combien rainures? Huit?

Excellent tutorial and a beautiful knife. Thank you for taking the time to share with us. A WIP like this takes a lot of time and we appreciate your effort. I'm anxious to see the completed knife. WELL DONE!

BTW: Your English is fine. [I wish my French was half that good.] <img src=' http://www.americanbladesmith.com/ipboard/public/style_emoticons//biggrin.gi f' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

Wonderful example of hand made craftsmanship. Thank you Jean Louis.

By posting these photos, you have helped many who are or will be making a fluted handle dagger.

Mon Dieu! Il n'est pas les mots por décrire l'échelon de l'artisanat

Bien fini monsiuer y merci beaucoups por le cours.

My goodness! There are no words to describe the level of craftsmanship. Well done sir and thank you for the lesson.

Yes Brion, I agree. The Damascus pattern is absolutely stunning. The only thing I cannot figure out, is how to ensure the pommel ends up in perfect alignment with the handle and guard. Gonna have to work that one out, I guess.
