Thanks for removing the other post Dan.

The mustard finish on the blade of the other folder looks beautiful, I've not had much luck in using mustard to patina a blade in the past. May be I'm not leaving it on there for long enough, if you could give me a run down of the process and how long you leave it on there for David, I'd appreciate that.

There is something about this style of folder that draws your eye. At first I only made fixed bladed knives, but I was put onto a book written by a gentleman called Gene Chapman. The book is, Antler and Iron II and that was it. I really enjoy making this sort of knife, they can satisfy you on so many levels from forging the blade and back spring, working with the antler, down to making your own snap head rivets.
