Just reading Brian Stucker's post about 52100 which got me looking at quench suppliers. Has anyone any experience with McMaster-Carr's 11 second oil quench? The price is very attractive and in all other areas, McMaster-Carr has a good supply source.

I am familiar with its chemistry under other names. It will work quite well for 52100, 5160, 80CrV2, O-1 and other alloyed steels.

Thank you, my peanut oil is getting old and I have thought I should upgrade to something intended for quenching.
