I cannot seem to find 5160 in 1" by 1/4" stock anywhere. Anyone have a source? I've been buying 2"x1/4" and splitting it in half, but this wastes material and time. Thanks!

Thanks I'll have to call him I guess. Every time I try to purchase 5160 from him it's "Out of Stock" on the site.

Admiral Steel is who I use. 20 + feet to an order though.

Darrell, give Aldo a call. Sometimes he has cutoffs and pieces he does not list on the site. Plus he is a great conversationalist. Good guy.

Darrell, Aldo does list the 80crv2 in that size. Think of it as 5160 with more carbon, about .81 carbon.

Thanks all! I called Aldo and they just split a 2" piece of 5160. I have used Admiral Steel in the past but they don't carry the 1" in 5160 but only in 9260 (which I've never used).
