This is a great line up and there is plenty to be learned at this event. We have already started to get some pre-registered for this event. If you can pre-register on the website or through me, it will help out the folks at the morning registration table. Of course all are welcome and registering at the event is welcome, but if you want to use a credit card, pre-registration is the way to go.

The hammer in is less than a week away. Some excellent demonstrations, and a chance to spend the weekend talking about our favorite subject, knives.

These hammer ins are great events to learn a lot of tips and techniques to help with your knifemaking. If at all possible you should plan to attend.

Friday evening the regulars convene around the back of the Best Western to think about dinner and tell lies. Probably around six. See everyone Friday.

The Fall Piney Woods is this weekend; seems like just the other day we did the spring.

The weather is supposed to be great, a nice cool spell after a pretty hot Sept.

We have a fantastic lineup for this fall.

Bladesmith Jim White has made up a great looking hunter for the drawing knife; give him a thank you when you see him this weekend.

There will be several vendors there; bring your want list.

You can pre-register with Cindy or you can sign up on Saturday morning at Old Washington.

The usual Fri. supper with all the miscreants and exaggerators will be gathering as per Brion; he,s the boss miscreant.

See you Sat. morning

Finally able to get some kind of internet connection. Hopefully this will work. This is The knife being given away at the Fall Hammer in two days from now. A really nice hunter courtesy of Jim White. You must be present to win a d the drawing will be Saturday evening after the auction. You also must be a paid attendee. A chance to win a great custom knife.

I would like to thank all of the hardy souls who were with us on this last hammer-in at Old Washington. The weather was far from perfect but everything went smoothly and no one melted in the rain. It went great.

The Moran School of Bladesmithing will continue to be the oldest and most influential school of Bladesmithing.

Our legacy of world class bladesmiths and artisans will continue.

Any questions you may have on this please ask. The instruction, the instructors and the curriculum will be the same as before.
