I have recently got to the finishing touches on my workshop and before I get the forge up and running I was wondering if there are any recommendations for fire resistant materials I can put on the walls of the shop around the anvil and forge. Due to space available when I put up the shop I am going to be a little closer to the walls than I have been in my temporary setup. The walls are half inch plywood with a six inch metal ridge along the floor to keep any sparks from settling directly next to wood. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
