Hi everyone,

I am new around these parts and I finally have been able to put together a forge to start learning and making blades.

I have forged a few out and wanted to join where the focus is making the best so that I can learn, and hopefully

avoid some of the mistakes others have made before me <img src=' http://www.americanbladesmith.com/ipboard/public/style_emoticons//smile.gi f' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> while making plenty of my own.

Trying to forge plunge lines evenly and getting both sides of the tang isolated evenly are current focus.

Welcome James.

You might check the other sub forums and see if there's anything there that can help you. And also the ABS YouTube channel.

Those are common problem areas and I intend to have some video clips to share how I forge in those parts.
