Hi all. My name is John Doyle. I just recently joined the ABS and signed up for this forum. I've been forging knives for a few years now. I caught the blade-smithing bug after meeting and becoming friends with MS Jon Christensen and MS Ed Caffrey when I lived in Montana.

I have been a full time bladesmith for about the last 2 1/2 years. I'm looking forward to my journey down this ABS road!

John! I was glad when I found out joining was officially done and really happy to see you on here now, as well. You already make some amazing stuff, but definitely a good place here to get some ideas and feedback.

Thanks for the welcome guys.

Kevin, I'm up in Gladwin...........just north of Midland and south of Houghton Lake.

I talked to you a few months ago on the phone about my salt tank PID controller.........which I'm happy to report is up and running.

I believe you're about an hour and a half from me. You're welcome here any time. If you were passing through or whatever. I'd love to get a chance to meet someday soon. <img src=' http://www.americanbladesmith.com/ipboard/public/style_emoticons//smile.gi f' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />
