Here is a press I am working on.

The base is an old welding table I built years ago. Still a long way too go. I will post pics of my progress. Thx

I drilled and tapped the area for the die holders.

I hope so. After about 20lbs of 6011 and 7018 welding rods so far. I got the heavy 1 1/2 inch plate for free.

I made some die holders.

Here is some more progress. I am running into a problem in figuring out where to mount the control valve. I have been thinking of making a pedal for a foot control also. I am right handed. Looking for some advice from some of the more experienced press operators. Thx in advance.

I ended up mounting the handle out to the side.

Got some wheels on it. Finally decided on the motor location. And moved the handle down.

I realize it's probably already too late for this, but if you are right handed, you will want your right hand free to hold and manipulate stock. Even the clumsiest left hand can operate a lever.

Good luck with the build. Looks very nice so far.
