Hey Bladesmiths!
I made this video a while back and I hope you might find it helpful. I basically use 2 pairs of these. One sized for 1/4 x 1 1/4 to 1 x 1.5 and one sized from 1/4 x 3/4 to 1/4 to 1". You can also MIG weld the bits on instead of chiseling and fullering like I did. It's a fun project to mix it up after a day of filing and fitting.
